This part I’m actually looking forward to. Getting the racing gear, that I once owned and misplaced. This is my running backpack, my walking sticks, my headlamp, next to a few smaller items – bummer. A good enough reason to go shopping for another set. I also will need new trail running shoes. The decision here is simple, it will be the HOKA Mafate 2. It comes with recommendations from my trusted shoe and gear dealer Rolf, from Wat läuft. The rest will be a matter of a few google searches and shouldn’t be hard to come by. 

p.s. After some research and with heavy recommendation from Rolf, I purchased the Evo Speedgoat.
